Using the service
ScribeCue shows the public captions of online videos and transcribes files you upload. Transcripts of other people's videos remain their work: use them for personal study, research, quotation, accessibility and other uses the law allows, and credit the creator.
What you may upload
Only recordings you own or have permission to transcribe. Do not upload content that is illegal, or recordings of people who did not agree to be recorded where the law requires consent.
Payments
- Prices are shown on the pricing page before you pay; Stripe processes the payment.
- Pro renews automatically each month or year until you cancel; cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the paid period.
- Minute packs are one-time purchases and stay valid for 12 months.
- Minutes for a failed transcription are returned automatically.
- Refunds: within 7 days of a payment, you can get a full refund if you have not used any of the minutes it bought. You can cancel Pro at any time.

Accuracy
Captions, machine transcription, translation and AI summaries can contain mistakes. Check anything important against the original recording.
Limits
We may limit or stop abusive or automated use. The service is provided as is; to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do.
